Everyone posting their Album of the Year and I’m over here spinning Kenny Rogers’ first Christmas album like it’s 1981. And while I’m not sure it was an Album of the Year juggernaut then, it was the shelf grab of my season this year. Honestly, it’s just a wholesome little holiday spin soundtracked by the dulcet tones of an absolute song bird.

Honorable mention would go to Harry Belafonte “To Wish You a Merry Christmas” and the cast of Peanuts for their nostalgic contributions to the sounds of my somewhat vintage vinyl holiday season. I heard 1981 is considered vintage these days anyway.
