Here’s an album that I think most critics would consider conceptual or whatever. I just think it’s super creative from the lyrical content to the diversity in artist contribution here. Externally, it seems like it’s leaning into nihilistic wasteland territory when really it’s presenting hopefulness and adaptation where it typically doesn’t exist.

To quote a wise sage, Jeff Goldblum, “Life…uh…finds a way.” Kind of like autumn. Kind of like the cold sting of a chill in the breeze off a lake that’s cooling down.

Anyway, it’s just a neat record. It is a vibe, as the kids say, and this is mine today.
