Day 9: #fallvinylhealing Music Showing Who You Hope You Become

Day 9 of #fallvinylhealing w/ me and my hoodrat friend, Jorge @therapyinvinyl and, in short, our task today is to represent yourself as an adult with some music.

Obviously, I missed the opportunity to say it’s me, I’m Daft Punk. 😅😅😅

Paul’s Boutique is the acquired taste in the Beastie Boys’ catalog, tho with cult-like acceptance of being the best. The boys were thought to be perhaps overrated as a minimal hits wonder when this dropped and the awesomeness that is this album was a bit surprising. They’re snarky and funny and sharp witted. Party kids forever yet they brought that nut up to the shut up convention like a man. Whatever that means. They gave no fucks. And while I don’t intend to run around being needlessly raucous and having a no apologies attitude, I do think I have elements of all those things within a large margin of reason as an adult.
