Born This Way w/ @therapyinvinyl for #fallvinylhealing
Ayyye, you thought this was just about music. Well, it’s also about records. And pleasing auditory experiences.

Me and @blacksmith.records know what’s up. As a nod to the Steve Martin post they shared in an earlier day, and likewise because I shockingly have no polka available in my collection right now, I’ve chosen Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion as an acceptable substitute. Although I’m not Minnesotan, the sleepy fictional Lake Wobegon could 💯 be a Wisconsin town. My dad was a huge fan when I was at home. At the time, I thought it was real stupid as a typical teenager might and had to listen to GK more often than I wanted to.
I also want to showcase how big a nerd I am because not only do I own it, I’ve listened to it a handful of times. It makes me feel at home and comfy.
Nabbed this at a sleepy little residential looking record shop (John, remind me of the name…) when I hung out with @rabbit.on.the.run in his Indy-based stomping grounds back in January and I’ve been comforted to have it in the stacks since.
