I don’t know jack about numerology; however, I do know that MGMT is releasing a live album 11-11-11, 11 years after their performance at the Guggenheim. Truly a one-of-a-kind event, MGMT was commissioned to create original music as a backdrop for a 130-piece art installation by Maurizio Cattelan presented at the museum that date.

Anticipation for the album is high as it’s been a hot minute since MGMT released anything, beyond the last studio album Little Dark Age from 2018 and track “As You Move Through the World” in early 2020.

The public performance will be available in digital formats immediately with the physical copies of the LP pressed in both black and colored vinyl in Spring 2023. Pre-orders happening now.
